Hours of Work
We are looking to recruit part time and full time positions
The opportunity for working hours is term time only (39 weeks of the year).
The working hours available are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 16:00pm
Sessions run from 09:00 - 12:00 and 12:30 - 15:30.

Hourly pay from £18 per hour based on experience.
Academic Tutor, Alternative Education Provision

Farm Club offers interim high dependency support to primary and secondary age students who are struggling to engage socially and academically in the classroom environment. High dependency provision at Farm Club is reflective of our staff ratios, the needs and requirements of the child and their families, as well as the approach that is taken to reintegrate a young person back into mainstream or specialist schooling. As a high dependency provision, we are able to supply outstanding resources, a tailored curriculum and dedicate unwavering time and attention to the children in our care, with careful consideration of the level of need required for each individual.

The position of Academic Tutor will involve delivering sessions for students in line with the Farm Club learning programme. To ensure students are getting maximum benefit from their time with Farm Club, we require an individual with experience who can demonstrate compassion, creativity, vigilance, patience, and resilience.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Minimum of two years’ classroom teaching experience.
Relevant professional qualification, training, or recognised experience appropriate to the role.
Experience
Experience of working with children and young people with SEND, complex needs, and/or
challenging behaviour.
Experience of delivering education or therapeutic interventions in a child-centred environment.
Experience of multi-agency working and collaborative practice.
Experience of working in flexible environments, including community or home-based settings.
Knowledge
Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and responsibilities.
Understanding of statutory guidance relating to children in care and SEND.
Understanding of behaviour management and trauma-informed practice.
Awareness of professional boundaries, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.
Understanding of curriculum adaptation and personalised learning approaches.

Experience of working in an outdoor learning environment
